this is harder than I thought!

I'm having a bit of a hard time this week with gratitude.
So today I will only say that I'm grateful for the delicious cornbread served at lunch.

That's all.

Queenie, I am reminded of a story by Thich Naht Hahn, a Vietnamese Zen Buddhist Monk who practiced a walking meditation of thankfulness and gratitude. He suggested that when one was unable to think of anything to be thankful for they might reflect on when they had experienced a toothache, and then they could be thankful for the non-toothache in the present moment.

Like it feels good to stop hitting your head against the wall. Sometimes we have to look hard for things to be grateful for, but they are there....all over the place . I think sometimes we feel somethings are too minor to be thankful for, but that's not really the case.
