It's my beautiful Eric - standing proudly atop one of his helicopters in Afghanistan. I mean, really, couldn't he have just stood by the door or posed in front of the nose or even peeked out from underneath?
Considering all the crazy stunts he pulled in the past (canoeing the Allagash in APRIL???? at just 17??!) I'm surprised he didn't tether himself to one of the propellers and go for a spin.
Ooops. I may have just given him a new idea.
Prayers and love, my sweet Eric. Stay safe and Christmas cannot come fast enough!

ohhh ((HUGZ)) to you!!! I have three boys so I know exactly where you are coming from!!! But he does look so proud!!!
Never ever suggest to a male, that they tie themselves to ANYTHING!!! I have 5 boys and 9 grandsons, and I wouldn't put anything past any one of them.
PS - The husband I can trust...he won't tie himself to anything, but he'll gladly tie up the grand kids;-)
I'm so glad to have found your blog!
May God Bless your dear Eric!
Well it must run in the family because my little one can't resist climbing either...SHE'S a handful! She stretches out her foot and shoots a glance back at anyone who will pay attention, just to make sure she has an audience before she pulls herself up on everything!!
